Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
These special editions are nothing more than paint and a slightly different interior right?
So they are all utterly stupid.

No, reviving dead nameplates sucks typically. I guess the new Challenger is kinda cool, but compared to the original...
Nah Porsche is still wicked. They still make bonkers cars like the GT3, the base 911 is still awesome, and the Cayman and Boxster are cool too.
I fear VW reign.
i wonder if VW ownership will trigger a better cayman though. if they have no hang ups over marketing the 911 (seriously it's pretty much separate markets)

ugh.. yeah you're right.
edit: and give it a 1.4tsi engine

And then make it share platforms with 4 other VAG products.
I'm tired of the GT3 as the excuse for the rest of "Porsche". There was a GT3 or a GT2 even before of the Cayenne, and if that wasnt enough to keep Porsche afloat, then it isn't Porsche what people want but a Cayenne, which are still two different things in my book.
Lately EVO tested the latest 911 turbo with the PDK gearbox. The driver could go 0-100 mph in less than 8 seconds while drinking a Coke. WTF is that? a Porsche? you mean, the car which used to kill you before you could say "damn rear engined"?
Yes, I like the GT3 and GT3 RS, I even kinda like the Cayman, I think, but that's not enough to balance the rest. Even the 997 fails to interest me, it never was my cup of tea and the 997 GT2 just evidenced the fact that reinventing the wheel has become damn tough. Instead of moving on though they just keep adding ugliness and douchebagginess.
Probably that's what people want, and I know all companies are there just to sell, but that's a bit too much for me.

The 997 is great though - I think it's the best looking 911 made (then again, I hate the look of old 911s). It has a nice interior, is great to drive. Win win win.
So what is bad in their lineup then? The Cayenne sucks, fine, but it maybe saved the company. The Panamera according to everyone I've read is amazing. The 911 is amazing. The Boxster and Cayman are amongst the best handling cars out there.
What do you want?
the non-RS models are the backbone of the business though, the RS models are for those of us with proper intent
