My other car, another '06 Mustang GT

Technically this isn't my car, it's the girlfriend's. She had it when we met, but I've pretty much adopted it by now, and it's the one I drive the most at the present with mine still out of commission.

Anyway, it's an '06 GT with the Premium package, gray leather interior, and the 5R55S automatic tranny. The wheels are the 18 inch factory upgrades. We've only done a few modifications to it so far, and most are due to her wanting a black and white theme.

JLTII cold air intake and custom dyno tune. Car now puts down 299rwhp.
    Flowmaster series 40 axleback exhausts.
Horribly heavy, room stealing dual 10 inch subs in the back.
Blacked out lights all around by yours truly.
    Black rear wing.
    Blackout panel on the trunk.
    5% window tint.
CDC classic chin spoiler (not depicted).

Also, I'm pretty sure it will be lowered, get a set of black rims, and quite possibly the Tremec 3650 manual tranny out of mine when I eventually upgrade to the 6060. The car does have a bit of a whine coming from the rear which means I'll have to crack open the diff and readjust the pinion depth. At the same time the 3.31 gears will be swapped for 3.73s.

She wants a blower. The way she drives, I'm not installing one, EOD.

hot car man, Its always good to see a girl into cars, especially one that has a definitive idea as to a direction of modification and theme.

    Top marks!

Nice car, even if the color combo underlines how large the rear window is.

Props to the lady, a very good ride, it doesn't look girly or "cute", it's sleek.
New wheels and a lower height would be welcomed

Large rear window is good isn't it?

With such a high and large tail (and car), I don't think it would help that much when parking, but I was speaking only out of look and proportions.

Parking the coupe is much easier than parking the convertible. The vert simply has massive C pillars due to the soft top. Then again, 5% tint doesn't quite help a whole lot. Especially at night.

You should powder coat the wheels black.

We though abou that, but I'd rather get her some Foose Nitrous or Shelby rims.

Btw. I know you edited your post but anyway, yes, they're both GT's. Same 3V, 281 cui modular V8. That said, my new one is 284. I must have more

What's the story with the extra three cubes? I didn't know there was any variance on the 4.6 L modular V8s.

Also, did you meet this chick at the track or something?

No, it's a standard 0.020inch/0.5mm over bore on blocks that are used for race engines. Especially if said blocks are used.

We met through a mutual acquaintance who works at a Mustang performance shop. She's more into Mustangs than I am (already told me she'd leave me if I got rid of mine, or got another Vette)

Where are you getting your car inspected? Our other car (an X5) just failed NC state inspection for having a tint pretty close to that

It's a good question; I don't know. She goes and gets her car inspected herself, and I know it got inspected with that tint.

There must be some good places here and there, because I know of people with 5% all around and 20% in the front plus cat delete midpipes.
