    Finished* Ferrari 612 Stradale

Finally finished this project which began in 2005.

As you can deduct from my progress thread some changes were made along the way.

I chose to make it a curbside, 6 speed stick, changed the wheels to Aoshima 20" Traffic Star RTM's painted Testors Magnesium metalizer. Body color is Pontiac Lucerne Blue rather than the Azzurro California.I also reshaped the side windows. The chassis is painted Tamiya TS Gunmetal.

The seats and mirrors are from 599. I put a small red, white and green Italian stripe on each mirror.

    The brakes are F430 duplicates.

The body was finished off with MSM Creation and Crazy Modeler emblems.

The kit itself is pretty shoddy...lot of warpage and the chassis is very poorly designed and engineered. The body needed a lot of block sanding to get rid of the waves.

Wow, that's really cool. I don't have the patience to build/make my own models, so I normally go and buy the die-cast ones.

    Good stuff, there.

    Is this a Revell kit?
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
