These look great, narbeh. Not sure about the modern seats (or full cage) in this TiSa, though. It wouldn't be hard to fabricate the correct buckets. There's a distinct modern taste in your modifications (and I like them) but building for period accuracy is it's own challenge.

I'm familiar with transkits in 1:8 (mainly Pocher), but where are you getting the 1:18 stuff from? The Minilites look good... scavanged from other kits? Also, have you seen a decent 1:18 356 Karmann Hardtop from any maker? I want to build a miniature of one of my cars but the only option is to put a roof on a cabrio...

Anyway, hit us up with a supplier link!

    Thanks
Some times I cant make up my mind which period I want to modify these models, but as you've mentioned they have a modern touch on them.
The minilite as you've guessed are from another model (Burago's Mini Cooper) the other parts like seats or wheels are from other models too, roll bars are made of plastic rods, decals from ebay
Two Porsche 356 that I've posted the pictures are from Ricko and Sunstar, The Ricko is very hard to find, I got mine from Germany and it cost me around $90.00. Sunstar is much cheaper compere to Ricko which was $20.00, that one is also a bit hard to find check ebay time to time. those I think are the better ones with hard top, Burago also make the same model both hard top and cabrio, but I am not really a fan of Burago. The wheels for 356's I used from Maisto 550 spyder
This sites have nice parts but expensive, check them out

Many thanks for the suppliers, there are a few things from each that fit my needs. As to 356 models, note the difference in the roofline of the two cars below. Mine is like the car in the foreground. A cabrio model with hardtop that will require extensive mods is probably as close as I'll get.

    No problem
I have not seen any picture of 356 with that kind of roof till now, very interesting though and I dont think you can find the 1/18 model, the only option would be to get a cabrio and scratch build the roof.
