How about making a custom one?
You think you can make flares like the widebody GTA's?

You may find the correct rims from Alfa Rome Tipo 33 die cast models.. If there are any?

Otherwise great work you put in these cars
    Love the Cortinas as well

    Thanks
It would be very hard to make those flares, Minichamps has the model in the picture in 1/18

I did a search for a diecast GTA 1300 Junior long time ago, but didn't find any..
When I searched now, I found it!

Nice kit, hope the price is matched by the quality.

HOWEVER , found this on there .... All Stars 1971 Alpine Renault 1600S in Red

OMFG, that is hideous. WHO did that to such a beautiful model and I hope nobody did it to a real car

Lotus, that's a nice looking GTA. Let us know if the detail merits the price!

It's the JADA Dub City effect, Matra. Mimics the fetish for 24's popular in certain ethno-cultural circles. There's a whole line of iconic (as well non) cars with wheelwells stuffed to the max. There's even a German eBay seller that "tunes" models fussel style.
He offers a BMW 700S as ridiculous as that A110:
(EDIT: Talk about absurd prices, this one's 179 Euro )

cheers CSL, is there an adress so I can go round with a full scale wrench and beat the shit out of them for daring to consider ruining a car like that.

SICK .... and not in the modern use of the word

Here's more. Perhaps a thread of "what not to do with models" would be appropriate. "Tuning" apparently is a synonym for oversized wheels. Enjoy the store: eBay Shop - kl-modelltuning: Wir verkaufen Alle Angebote, Porsche Tuningmodelle, Opel Tuningmodell.

I always thought the real thing with German tuners is terrible, but this beats them all by a mile.

Can't decide whether to be thankful that they are only doing it to models or to worry that they'll grow up and want to do it to the real thing
