    Montée de Cassel 2010
A small demo Hillclimb organised by classic car merchand Christophe Pund (Gallerie des Damier) in the Historic town of Cassel (Northern France) With no advertising prior to the event ,just that it's every year on the first of may ! on a 1.4 km stretch of road on the side of mount Cassel.
The cars range from pre-wars to the seventies with even some rare racecars and prototype's (mostly french)

    It's a Type 252 from 1957. Only a prototype was made.

As classic and historic racing and rallying has grown most of the manufacturers have used their specilist low volume produciton units to provide their original tyres for most eras and cars. Most cases this includes improvements in modern materials for racing, downisde is many classic cars end up with twisted half shafts due to the improved traction

Michelin remake the bagheera rear sizes for a while now as on modern rubber it's a nightmare oversteer on lift off

See Vintage Tyres: For all Vintage & Classic Tires: +44 (0)1590 612261 for a typical catalogue
