New racing adventures - Juno SSE

A little thread about some new racing adventure I am taking part of this summer.

    First some specs:

    Car: 2007 Juno SSE CN
Engine: Mountune Honda 20K (Civic type R), about 250hp
Gearbox: Hewland FTR 6 speed sequential with pneumatic padleshift.
ECU/gearbox management: Pectel, with AIM Datalogging
    Quantum 2 way adjustable dampers
    Performance Friction monoblock brakes
    ATS F3 wheels
    Weight with driver, about 600kg

    The story and development:
My brother bought this car from the UK last autumn. The car is built as a LMP3 car. A prototype racecar with maximum capacity of 2 liters. The car has been raced in the UK for two seasons and been a test/training car for a V de V UK endurance team last season.

The most of the bodywork has been dismantled in need of some TLC both fiberglass and paint wise this winter. It has turned from dark blue to white. It has also some new mechanical parts like a new wiring loom and and other misc parts. New floors have also been made. The car is now nearing it's first test, and both drivers (my brother and I) are eager to finally try this out. 14th of june will be the day

Our first race will be in late June, a 1 hour race with change of driver, in a newly founded Danish class for prototypes. There are numerous classes that we can participate in Europe and UK, especially the V de V series, which is an endurance series with 2, 3 and 6 hour races. We will not attend any of the European races this season, but it is truly a dream to participate in some, maybe next season. It is a challenge to drive something like this, and to attend a 6 hour race needs training. So it would be plain stupid to enter one now in the first season, with no training or knowledge of the car.

We have a Facebook group where you can follow the little we will do this season. It's mixed Norwegian and English language, but if many of you guys in here join, we will make it pure English! Ernestus Endurance Racing | Facebook
I know many of you ucp'ers have already joined, welcome to you who haven't

Will update what happens in here as well, but there will be more activity on the FB page, maybe during races/training etc. Now for some shots. It's not decorated yet, but I think that will be solved before first race.. More photos in the facebook group!

Some older images of the car. In red livery, the first color. Dark blue was how it was when my brother bought it.
Also a little under the hood shot, it's my brothers car, but a 2008 or 2009 spec car. A bit updated but basically the same stuff.

    I joined up as well!
Will poor Julia be mothballed? It would be a shame for you to lock her up in storage.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

Looks like it will be a little more serious than racing Julia, but I'm sure you will be up to it.

Should also be a little faster than Julia and hopefully the floor under it will stay drier

Time will show if I am capable of it, I hope I am..
Since it is an open car, the floors will not be drier
