    I was having a little dream session on Carpoint.com.au...

    Cheapest decent one is $70k thats more than a used SLK...I know which one I'd get.

    Here they go from around 30 grand for a decent one. Recently there was one on sale next to home. It was a 230SL for 27k. Horrid color, but I wanted it.

    Mine would be a Mercedes E550 Cabriolet, starting at around $65,000 the price isn't terribly steep compared to the Italian supercars mentioned before.

    Hard to pick just one summertime car.

    It forced to pick one, I think it would be a '59 Cadillac Eldorado Seville.
    It would be fun to drive it around during the summer and attract a lot of attention.

    I would go British and choose a Lotus Exige S 240, would be a fun summer car and not too common here in New York.
