.. Are you selling some sort of Revis sign? What's a Revis sign? Also, that's a pretty dang expensive sign.

Sigh, what is the world coming to when there's a mod doing the spamming..

Life's too short to drive bad cars.

    Luis Leon signed as well.

So one of the biggest average yearly contracts not only in the NHL, but all of sport.

That 500k he lost holding out doesn't seem so bad now.

Just saw an SC clip of the deal - your SC host's voices/accents are tremendously annoying.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ don't see them stopping many passes

But hey, NY Jets need SOME good news .....
Can't wait to see the NFL films footage on this
Would he have "held out" if the cameras hadn't been around ???
Or would the Jets have folded to a $32M GUARANTEED deal ???

Jets prediction .... a 4 and 12 season at New Meadowlands and hope that some of the Giants glory continues to rub off ..... As long as you guys can afford to pay the rent !
( The 2008 ticker tape parade must still cause you to choke , no ? )

The team are paying his hold-out fine !!!!!

    Sorry, just winding you up.
AS a Dallas Cowboys fan *I* see a 9-7 as a mediocre losing season end.
    You see it as success

Remind me again, how much postseason success have you had recently?

I'm glad he signed. I usually hate holdouts but both sides of that had some legitimate complaints and the final deal was, I thought, about right.

Thoughts on the whole haynsworth debacle? I'm thinking he should either man up or retire to save himself from further disgrace.

Been getting to it at least

Been a Dallas fan since '79 when most people in the UK had never heard of "American Football". So, I've been through the ups and downs of Dallas. ie pretty much the 80s

    BUT, it's about TEAM . ... and we're still "America's team" --- oh-yeah

and checking I think the Cowboys have the highest winning percentage of any active NFL franchise (.580)

BUt I'm a fan, what can I say, logic and results don't always play into it.
Still remember the awful first year of Jones ownership.
    1-15
BUT ... the one win was the Redskins so it was a great season

HAHA! I love a good rivalry.

I also love my 49ers, who were the winningest team during the 80's and 90's. Though it's been hard times recently. Still we're going the right direction now.

Also, the Steelers have won the most championships of any professional team in the US, I believe. Though I may be wrong on that. Certainly the most in real football.

Also, America's team? Pffft. That ended years ago. Although it is funny to me that you love "America's team."

Put my hand up, reading Sports Illustrateds shipped over in HP crates from Colorado and NFL videos transcibed onto PAL Betamax by HP video library ....... I was "guided" to the Cowboys by one team attribute.

Care to guess ? It was 1979/80

Haha. Yeah, they did kind of pioneer the whole professional cheerleader thing, and still some of the best in any sport.
