    Dear All
I have deleted/edited a number of posts from this thread that came under the chapter: less relevant posts. Hope we can stay on topic.
    Thanks.

I'd choose the Zonda R. It may only be a track toy, but it's nevertheless an amazing piece of engineering... and compared to the (very similar) Ferrari FXX, it isn't even that bad looking.
It's sad that Pagani won't use the 7.3 AMG engine anymore intheir future models. THis should be the end for it as i know no other manufacturer that buys them.

Just curious, does anyone know what the price range is for these cars?

Which one's the cheapest, which one's the most expensive?

I'm sure they're all expensive though.

According to various unconfirmed internet sources:

    2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque: $1,565,000
    2009 Pagani Zonda R: $1,996,000
    2002 Pagani Zonda C12 S: $325,000
    Zonda F Coupe: €478,000
    Zonda F Coupe ClubSport: €500,000
    Zonda Roadster F Clubsport: €560,000
    Zonda Roadster F: €538,000
    2010 Pagani Zonda C9: $1,265,000

note that some are in € and some in $, also note that inflation (however minor) has not been factored in to these figures, since some are from press releases back from '03

I think I would have to look at a couple of Zonda brochures to decide. Well that and I don't think the car looks good and I don't think it's for sale in the US.

I always knew they were really expensive, but I had no idea so many were knocking on the door of the $1M mark. Factoring in conversion rates into Canadian $, thats 6 out of 8 models that either make it close to or surpass $1M with one bordering $2M!? I must have been living in a cave, because I thought as far as more modern cars go, that sort of territory was only ruled by McLaren F1s, Enzos and Bugattis. Well, good luck brochureman. You'll have to start creating polls/or dancing on them for a living to afford one of these .

Yeah, Koenigsegg is in that price range too; expect nothing less from these boutique carmakers

The only thing I know about Paganis is that nobody pays the base prices for these... the demand is (irritatingly and understandably at the same time) much higher than the output of the factory. And of course, there is no real price limit for Paganis

the 7.3 V12 AMG was made exclusively for Pagani. May it rev in peace.

When you said "was made exclusively for Pagani," I figured you meant that Mercedes designed, developed, and produced the engine ONLY for Pagani.

And yea, I totally thought the R129 was current .

I like the SL73 a lot - its absolutely ridiculous.

Any 90s GT with a 7L+ V12 is good in my books.

May I add my little knowledge on this company...

    Prices.
The Zonda F price wasn't as high as it was at the end of its life cycle, but it was improved from about 500.000 € to 750.000 € when they noticed cars were selling on the second hand market for more than what they were payed for when new.
Consider that was 2005, and that a brand new Ferrari Enzo was officially priced at 660.000 € over here.
The original Zonda C12 costed about 200.000 €, but it was 11 years ago. Back in those days, a Diablo was priced at about 150.000 € at worst.
A Zonda Cinque costed 1.150.000 €, the Cinque Roadster costs 1.350.000 € as the Tricolore.
    A Zonda R has a price of about 1.750.000 €

All prices including 20% VAT, so it may varies over your place.

Only one Zonda F was built without the Clubsport option, which also was the original silver Zonda F from 2005. It was then updated.

The Zonda is using the M120 engine from Daimler, in a bespoke configuration. So it's still the same engine as the one used on many Mercedes-benz cars, just tailored upon Pagani's requests.
That was less true with the last versions of that engine, even if the basis is still the M120 design.
Will be sort of the same with the new C9.
The M120 is being discontinued by Mercedes, Pagani had no option but to change engine. Plus it's an Euro3 engine which is a bit of a problem as new cars can be registered in Europe only if they are Euro4 I think since 2006 or 2008.

The Tricolore is exactly like a Cinque expect for the LED lights at the front, and the wing on the engine cover. At least the HH has a manual gearbox.
