I like Pachelbel's Canon, Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.

Also a fan of Nina Simone and Dave Brubeck.

I don't think I could give 5 top songs to save my life. There is way too much good music out there for that. I can sort of narrow it down to artists but again, its difficult.
Other than the first being my #1 choice, the rest are in no particular order.

    1. Smetana - Die Moldau
    2. Beethoven (played the piano since I was very young)
    3. Eagles
    4. Rolling Stones
    5. ZZ Top

    many, many, many more

    Favorit band:
    Led Zeppelin or Pearl Jam.

    Songs:
1:Led Zeppelin / Stairway To Heaven
-:Creedence Clearwater Revival / Ramble Tamble
-:Mark Lanegan / Where did you sleep last night (love his version of the Lead Belly classic)
    -:Megadeth / Peace Sells
    -:Rolling Stones / Gimme Shelter.

    Just adding some "runner ups":
-: Pearl Jam / State of Love and Trust
-: Mother Love Bone / Cloe Dancer/Crown of thorns.
    -: Pixies / Gouge Away
    -: Queen / Bohemian Rhapsody
-: Queens of the Stone Age / In The Fade

    -: Soundgarden / Rusty Cage

I have many "music loves" so can't really choose

Can't be bothered to narrow down to songs, here is the short list of some of the most inspiring musicians for me. All in no particular order, of course.

    Kraftwerk
    The Clash
    John Coltrane
    Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti
    Roy Ayers

My musical inclination changes just about every week, so I can't really pin down any five songs, however this week theme seems to be drone metal.

If music were to show my age, then I'd be an old man that sometimes (but rarely) listens to his kid's music.

I, too would be minimum 10 years older!.
I NEVER listen to todays pop music, actually i'm a lot more like the old man who curses the modern "hippety-hop" music.

    Favorite Band: Led Zeppelin.

    Led Zeppelin
    Cream
    Eric Clapton
    the Beatles
    Wings
    Paul McCartney
    Jimi Hendrix
    Stevie Ray Vaughan
    Little Walter
    Howlin Wolf
    Muddy Waters
    Bo Diddley

Layla used to be one of my favorites. Then I discovered Zeppelin.

But I'm also really into blues and Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley, and RObert Johnson really get me goin too.

But guess my age. I guarantee you you will be wrong.
