Never knew a rotary was used in a B16... cool. Performance?

I love old war horses like this, proud of their battle scars. Where's it racing in this shot?
It seems that the Pierce has an original factory made body

There was one car fitted with a rotary engine in period, allegedly now owned in Sweden, a replica appeared in Belgium, later owned by Steve Miniprio for a while and now by Olivier Cazalieres. The replica carries chassis number 22, which is telling as Bennett never used 11 or 13 or multiples of that number.

The March is chassis #4, fitted with a Chevy engine (now)

The Gullwing was in the early morning underneath the Dunlop Bridge at Le Mans. It is THE spot to be at that time (06.00 onwards) as the cars came upwards the hill and the drivers get the low sun straight in their eyes
