Ouch... I just wonder what the money developing that mess coulda done in GT racing, where AM have had more success.

I just found out that the Volvo 850R is based on the US spec.. so less power, 4-spd (auto irl, the international market had a 5-spd manual option) no LSD, less bodykit.. I are disappoint.

I love both the Forza and Gran Turismo games. I have had the sytems almost just for the sake of being able to play these games. While I am really not a gamer as I only play race games and really do not follow outside the game and such I do however love to see when new cars are added and such. I love that the new games do not ONLY focus on new cars but also the iconic and legendary classics as well. I think a real car person can both appreciate and respect some of these cars despite their lack of Modern Age Technology and such to make them a better driver. The old super cars and even muscle cars relied SOLELY on your ability to drive. No traction controls, stability control, launch mode, double clutch paddle shifters, and so on. If you wanted to drive to the ragged edge NOTHING was going to help you get there nor go over the edge. You had a real feel for the car and developed a bond between you and your car. You knew EXACTLY what it could do and how it would do it. I feel this is a bond that is now been dilluted by the cars ability to know more than you. The new generation of drivers do not know what it is to "Driver with your right foot" or "Powershift" as the car can almost always do it for them. The more tech we get the more we become car managers versus drivers.

    Agree 100%

Anyone know if there's any plans to release a complete version of FM4 (all DLC included)? A couple friends of mine have been holding off on picking it up waiting on a GotY or Collector's Edition version to hit the shelves.

Very unlikely, none of the rest have. I'd say your best bet is to grab it cheap enough to justify the season pass price.

Forza 3 did get an Ultimate Edition that packaged in all available DLC plus 3 exclusive cars. I just assumed that Turn 10 would give FM4 the same treatment once the taps on the post release content had been closed. Perhaps they are going to wait a bit longer to bring it out...considering FM4 featured a full year's worth of DLC release as opposed to FM3, which only received about 5 or 6 months worth.

I have a feeling we won't see such a package until maybe November...in time for the second anniversary of the game's initial release (especially considering this is the first time in its history that we won't see a new FM release within the standard 2 year dev cycle).

Neither here I think, but it is a brilliant idea.

I'd gladly pay 10% more or so to not have to bother with going to the internet and downloading stuff on you i-Drive in the app or something.

    Probably.

Plus it comes out waaay cheaper than buying the base game and then paying for all the downloadable content.
