No need for a revival. It is already being sold here as the Chrysler 300C Touring. So the rebadge should be fairly easy. And I agree, estate is a must here.

Coupre would be nice, but can't see it, at least for now.

The Chrysler 300C Touring was counting for probably 90% of 300's sales, that's just how we roll in Europe.
As a Chrysler, it was pretty neat, good value for money, different styling, etc.

Note that all 300 in Europe were called 300C, even the non V8 models.

I like the Magnum. I like station wagons.

Back to the station wagon thing again are we? Why is it Europeans buy up wagons so much more than Americans? I'm guessing that gas prices and the ability for Europeans to realize that there can be practicality and decent gas mileage without having some massive SUV.

Also, for many people it is style statement. In a significant number of cases they don't need it, they just like it.

not only that, but SPACE on the road, in towns, villages, parking garages etc. IS an issue.

I remember a recent ride in a Q7. It felt like it didn't fit in the lane of the motorway.

It also had a stupidly stiff ride. And it wasn't S-Line or anything.

It's depressing how many Q7s and XC90s and X6s and whatnot around where I live.. we have very narrow roads and limited parking space.

The XC90 is boderline. Maybe I'm being kind just because it's a Volvo.

No, I'm afraid Damiano, XC90 is as idiotic as the others. Maybe even more so being a Volvo. With the V70 being a proper estate car, the XC90 is pointless.

I meant the XC90 managed to keep Volvo alive probably, without beeing as offensive as the Cayenne.
So yes, I agree with you, it's just another SUV, and it's a shame people forgot about how awesome it was to own an 850 in the nineties.

Right on, I was going to mention that too. I think a lot of Americans take that for granted, unless they live in an old, cramped city like up in New England or somewhere like Savannah, GA.

Read the Press Release in full. I thought I had mistakenly posted the Sniff Petrol article on the car...
