most 16 year olds go by looks , sound & ego stroke (so do a lot of adults)

    the Ferrari wins hands down

the MP4 will go down as the fastest, most capable 4 wheeled load of blandness ever

What is you problem with me being 16 years old. I chose the Ferrari 458 not because it louder or better looking.

Can't believe the Fabia isn't taking it.

I suspect it's something to do with not being in the poll.

    Probably.

Sadly with all of the hoops I would need to jump through to import a Fabia, it would probably wind up more expensive than the other two.

I guess that's the price one pays for a sublime driving experience...

    well i would

if i had a few hundred thousand dollars to just drop on a car that is

& i dont have a problem with you being 16. i fully expect you to do 16 year old stuff - to "resent" that would be silly

When I first saw the MP4, I thought it looked too similar to the 458. But it´s a gorgeous car non the less. I chose the 458, but just by a nose.

As a long time UCP member I'm somewhat surprised the 458 is ahead....given the mix of posters has changed over the years...still surprised.

Things are going well; I am still at school.

I can't recall anything particularly exciting happening here while you were gone.

That´s good to hear that your doing well and that things remain more or less the same.

I would agree that the F1 looked a bit more ¨supercar agresive¨ but I wouldn´t call the MP4 bland or soft looks wise.

What does surprise me is that maclaren opted to make a supercar to compete with the 458s and GT2 RSs of the world and did not make a hypercar to after the Veyron and reclaim the world´s fastest car title.

^^^ Because McLaren would disappear into a balck hole of it's own creation if any designers even THOUGHT of using excess power to make up for lardy-ass weight and it's associated handling issues
How many race Veyrons are there ?

But hypercar doesn´t neceseraly mean building an over wieght, bad handling car. When the F1 came out, excess weight wasn´t an issue for that car. maclaren is more than capable of building a hypercar that isn´t as heavy as the Veyron I´m sure.

As far as the handling goes, from the reviews I´ve seen and read, the Veyron is quite a capable car despite it´s massive wieght.

I saw picture of one a while back LOL. I guess Bugatti doesn´t need to bother with the win on sunday, sell on monday cliché. People will buy the Veyron regardless of it´s lack of racing redigree. Same for Koenigsegg and Pagani I think.
