If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Alonso said he can get to first before the first corner.

We laughed when we heard it.

Now he'll do it just to be annoying...

Observation, I think this was the 2nd time this year I've seen a Lotus Renault(black car) burn down to the ground. With their forward exhaust that runs to the side of the cockpit and exits at the front of the sidepod, it just seems that much more risky from that kind of fire, as you can see the fire starts literally alongside the driver.....If F1 likes to ban everything on the ground of safety, that seems to be a good one to ban...

    Something also exploded...

As for the race, definitely eventful, excellent Buemi and Di Resta, Button as always.

I'd like to know what does Schumacher think of his season so far...

Interesting to listen to the BBC commentators who clearly opinionated that Hamilton's "move" vis-a-vis di Resta did not need to be investigated...but when the drive through penalty was given they had to admit that it was according to the rules.

Was a bit harsh but to the law. I think Paul woudl have had to do a bit of avoidign even if Lewis had stayed where he was. Visibility so bad in current gen F1 quite possibel he'd not seen DiResta so I woudl have given him benefit of the doubt.
On the interactive BBC after the race they interviewed both and Lewis was apologetic and Paul said he didn't lose points or position by it so seemed to be suggesting it was harsh.

THink everyone accepted it. Also in the interactive session they were all ( commentators nad team managers ) going on about how mature and professional Lewis was about it all. Eddy even commented it was a "different Lewis" from before

Lewis can't afford to PO the race officials (which for the third time included Tom Kristensen--probably the most of any guest steward) because the FIA proposed a rule that if a driver misbehaves on or off track (especially while on track property), more than 3 times, the officials at their descresion can hand out penalites for basically infringing on the FIA's version of the "detremental to NASCAR" rule or on track rules violations.
Power to me is having the ability to make a change in a positive way. Don't dream it, be it.

I recall an interview with a Renault guy saying that they'd stopped development on the forward exhaust because it's going to be banned as of next year, so there is that. Good race all in all anyway.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
