    My buddy's farm truck

Not too long ago I did a detail job -- wash, clay, two stage polish, sealant and wax -- on this built '99 Ford Lightning. Some facts: 2v 5.4l Ford modular motor topped with a 2.3l Kenne Bell blower pushing 18psi of max boost producing 619hp/1002nm to the rear tires. And it sounds like a cammed, old school big block Ford when it's idling.

That is sweet, but man I bet it's hard to make a clean getaway with all that power only going to the back!

The truck hooks remarkably well on drag radials. It's a strange feeling, and it feels much slower than it is, but it just gets up and goes without and drama.

When I first caught a ride in it, I remember thinking it felt much more like a car than an actual truck -- and it still does. I actually feels smaller than a mid sized family saloon despite it's weight.

....and it's a bloody fun toy!
