But even in those it seems we will be limited to just one option, the 3 litre turbochrged unit, no smaller displacement engines or normally aspirated ones...

I've got to give them congratulations on this, they've managed to destroy the entire linup.
There isn't a single one of these new BMWs i'd want.

The front is to low, looking at it from the front, the headlights and grill are positioned at half height, from the gound to the front window, it just looks to low, and from the side it becomes even worse, specially the huge rear side windows.

I like that it doesn't have a ridiculously high belt line, it was something I always liked about my E30. Fantastic visibility. The headlights are a little low, though that's probably to do with some pedestrian safety law.

And while BMW reduces their straight six offerings, Mercedes wants to go back to them...

I'm not liking the front too much either.

This is the first thing I've heard in a long time that would make me want a Benz. I suspect because it is an inheritantly balanced engine, a straight 6 responds very well to turbo charging.

It'd be awesome if the Jaguar C-x16 had a turbo straight 6 combined w/ the KERS.

Straight six in a new Jag? That'd be too much win.
