    The E30 didn't want to live with such a sacrelicious engine swap.

    why SR20 into the E30? it kinda makes sense for ballers on a budget here but surely in europe there would be sooo much more cheap parts for the M42 or similar

    I'm kinda curious too, other than the odd Nissan engine in BMW thing, what advantage is there?

    I guess it's like people sticking V8 engines in Miatas and RX-7s?

    Totally out of character of the car, but because of the power to weight ratio it's useful?

    Probably, but with the E30's somewhat lively rear end, you'd have to be careful with it... as shown by the pictures there.

    maybe, but it's not like BMW's M10 engine is a stranger to turbochargers
