Isn't Lamborghini styling dept stuck with endless Countach updates?

Virtually all their 1990+ models share the same Countach styling.
This is not to say modern Lamborghinis good dated.
But they will need something really new sooner or later.

Unlike Ferrari styling which won't follow the same old line.

Aside from a general wedge shape mimicked by nearly all supercar builders since the LP400 was first shown in 1972, Gandini's design language is present in the Gallardo, Murcielago and Aventador but they share nothing stylistically with the Countach. The Diablo did carry over dimensionally and mechanically but had much softer lines. From Gallardo to Reventon, the most noticeable thing about their visual evolution is accentuated angularity which translates as aggressiveness; Ferrari and just about everyone else have followed a similar path with certain cues, particularly cooling inlets.

The Countach was a seminal design, restrained by today's standard... a simple comparison of dimensions and profiles rebuts your assertion.

I like the Lamborghini wedge. It's different enough every time to be fresh; and yet as csl says, it still has Gandini's design DNA.

If this Lamborghini is being stuck with endless Countach design updates, then I think it's a good thing.

The Lambo wedge is cool and all that, but they've never produced a car better looking than the Miura. Even that 2006 Concept Miura was a better looker than any Murcielago, Gallardo, Avantador etc.

Is this a bad thing? Lambo still has some of the sexiest, coolest, fastest cars available.

Lamborghini has made some of the most beautiful cars during that period culminating with the Aventador which to me is the most awesome looking supercar ever.

I was going to say the same thing. I dont think the Diablo, Murcielago, Gallardo & Aventador looks anything like the Countach, because then you can just as well say the same thing about the Ferrari 348 and all of its successors up to the 458

Porsche 911s on the other hand all look pretty much the same as the very first 911
