    Also, in your first post, you specify that it is a flat-8, but I'm 100% sure that's wrong. It's a flat-6...

    You are right in this case, but there were a few 910s fitted with the 2.2 litre 771 flat-eight engine.

    He was 100% right, your car clearly misses two cylinders to be a flat eight.

    The 6 cylinder engine was also only 2 litre and packed 220 bhp.

    I was talking about 910's in general. Mostly flat 6, 2 litres, with a couple of flat 8 2.2 litres right? I'll specify in the first post.

    The eights were not used but in a handful of cars late in the 910's career. It was by then superceded by the 907.
