I'd be more likely to look for a second gen turbo... preferably an Aussie special SP, though they are pretty dang rare.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.

Wow, full intercooled turbo setup with CF airbox among other goodies. USDM didn't get the airbox so -1 cool points.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

To revive an old UCP meme...

    Is it practical?

It's a wagon.. so yes, duh.

    Is it economical?

Doesn't seem too brilliant... but I don't drive it much, so it's pretty fine really.

    Is it fun to drive?

Of course it is, it's an 80s BMW.

Will it break down all the time?

Unlikely, it's in good nick and seems to run nicely.

    Is it easy to park?

It has great visibility and a steering wheel, so.. yes.

What if I go to a Shopping Centre and get chased by baddies in a Corvette?

    Now you're just being silly.

    Is it green?

    Not particularly.

    Can I afford it?

I reckon, unless you're super broke mans.

What If I'm asked to take part in a beach assault with the Royal Marines?

Plenty of room in the back for all sorts of kit, and the enemy won't want to shoot at it due to its classiness, so I imagine it'd be pretty handy!
