My wife found a clip on one of her humour websites of Clarkson driving a mini-mini car called the P-45. It looks essentially like a go-kart with armor for the driver powered by a 100cc 2-stroke motor. My wife wants to see more Top Gear now.

This week's episode was my favorite thus far this season....the Kia test, the hot hatches, Lewis Hamilton and all the cameos....The Mexican car bit was weak but thats to be expected.....

I thought the Mastretta bit was pathetic. Not for Top Gear but for car journalism in general. the car was most possibly hopeless and all Hammond could come up with was that window seals weren't quite up to task...
Anyway, hot hatches were good, classic Top Gear (great GT86 reference when posting the lap times). Kia segment wasn't bad at all, but like the US trip felt a bit overstretched. Much preferred the incomprehensible Audi-lover rather than Hamilton, but that's just me.
Oh and James May should get more air time. He is by far the best car journalist of the three.

hmm, it sounded as if the Mastretta was actually good FUN. Just not all sorted out yet.
Looked interesting, reminded me of rallycross runs with thin flimsy bonnet bouncing around
Kia rugby , another classic WTF TG moment

Thats gotta be pretty expensive though....all those cars all probably have enough damages to them in the end to be insurance write offs...
But this is Top Gear....

I'm sure Kia were happy to donate some of the test fleet after the rather glowing review of the new cee'd.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.

A two-part, two-hour special? Overdone much?
Also, will these be the end of the series?

I really wouldn't have noticed if none of the three had said a word. The setting and the cinematography were superb. I was amazed just how beautiful that part of Africa is. The cameramen were probably itching for the chance to shoot a mildly-colored car against a stunning backdrop instead of their usual eye-splinteringly loud paintjob on some supercar with entirely grey surroundings and they very much delivered.
As a car show it was somewhat lacking, but since when has Top Gear been a car show?

"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
I dunno, watching the WRX slithering in the mud was pretty good....

I think it would've been better if there were some proper challenges. Last week's episode felt a little bit like let's drive around for no obvious reason in three estate cars on muddy roads... And it's all very well the amazing sceneries and not being about cars, but this isn't a bloody documentary there has to be a point in the programme (even if it isn't about cars).
I still maintain it, Toyobaru + Shelby: best episode in the series.
