Rounding up our 2013 Geneva International Motor Show, we today take a second look at eight cars we previously only showed glimpses of in the build-up to the event.
Among them is the Alfa Romeo Gloria Concept, which was created to the special request of Alfa Romeo by master students of the European Design Institute in Turin. Developed in just four months, the Gloria may inspire the long awaited 'Giulia' saloon. A new production-ready Alfa Romeo on display in Geneva was the 4C. The mid-engined, carbon-fibre sports car boasts a 240 hp turbocharged engine, which should allow for very spirited driving.
One of the most talked about cars at this year's show was the Lamborghini Veneno. Built to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary this wild, limited production machine had a sticker price of EUR 3 million before taxes. Our 18-shot gallery reveals many more details than the official images released on the eve of the show.
Maserati used the Swiss event to show the new Quattroporte for the first time in Europe. They also expanded the GranTurismo with the hard-core MC Stradale version.
One of the oldest coachbuilders that has survived is Bertone and they were out in force with two Aston Martin show cars. The most interesting was the Rapide-based Jet 2+2 shooting-brake.
Among the numerous concept cars on display were the Honda Civic Tourer, Opel Adam Rocks and Subaru VIZIV.
