2013 Goodwood Preview with 150-shot gallery ...
On Wednesday Lord March invited the media for the annual Goodwood Press day to offer a preview of the upcoming Festival of Speed and Revival. They were treated to a fine and a remarkably large selection of cars and bikes. Among the many highlights were the 1966 Le Mans winning Ford GT40, the 1995 Le Mans winning McLaren F1 GTR and the Maserati 250F used by Juan Manuel Fangio to win the 1957 German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in what remains as one of the greatest Grands Prix of all time. Before the cars were sent up the hill, Lord March introduced the themes of both the Festival of Speed and Revival. At the Festival the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 and McLaren will be prominent themes as will be the 20th anniversary of the Festival of Speed itself. The Revival will honour Jim Clark and also host a special GT40 race to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this iconic racer.
As always we were at Goodwood to capture all the highlights, which has resulted in this 2013 Goodwood Preview, illustrated by an action-packed 150-shot gallery. Our photographers will once again be at both the Festival of Speed and Revival, so you can expect detailed features in July and September. In the build-up to these events we will also take closer looks at some of the cars that will star at one or both 'Goodwoods'.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
