Well, looks like I'm moving next year

Wife and I are very unhappy living where we are. I don't mind the South; she does. But we both agree we want to go to a larger city. We feel starved for good food, family events, and constructive timewasters. She has family in none other than Rochester, NY. I was very reluctant until I visited last year, and it's actually a surprisingly nice place, even if it is a bit smaller of a city than I would have chosen for myself.

    This will be interesting...

That'll be the hardest part for me. Reynaud's syndrome is a downer.

We should have an official UCP meetup.

Here we have no winter, which is all good.

However when it snows from time to time the whole country stops.

Sounds like California, where I grew up. It's a bigger event to see snow than it is to feel an earthquake

Well it's a lot like California.

    Including bankruptcy and everything.

    But better.

Maybe. I'll have to visit to decide. Got any spare time for a tour?

You'll find your Molson easier in WNY.

    Enjoy the accent!

Come to Hogtown anytime; I'll show you around.

Diehard hockey fan. That's my sport. But I'm a Sharks fan. Which may mean eternal heartbreak...

I noticed that most of the grocery stores have a bigass Molson display in the front of the store. Stuff's priced like nasty Budweiser there, too.

Go see the Americans. Our minor league boys gave them a hell of a beatin' in the first round last year.

Months later, we later bumped into to two Marlies players at a country bar. Was jokes. I asked one if he was who I thought he was, and he said no, but the dude he was with was another player! It was funny. Struck out with chunky girls all night. Now they are on the big club.

Heard there's a minor league tourney going on in the ROC too? I get a decent amount of college and other minor league hockey late at night after I get off of work, unfortunately East Texas isn't much of a hockey market. Can't even get Dallas Stars games even though I reside about 90 minutes drive from where they play.

Wow, that's a massive shift. It probably means that your job gets disrupted too, right?

In any case, best of luck!

(I would participate in the off topic discussion, but I'm not much of a sports person.)
