I know many of my Ultimate Car Page friends are not all that familiar with the Hot Rod, Muscle Car, Resto-Mod universe, but the shows and events featuring these cars are a large part of the So. Cal. automotive scene. Yesterday we attended one such event (Good Guys) held at the very picturesque Del Mar horse racing facility. We stopped by the Ring Bros. display. They run one of the best restoration and fabrication shops in the country. As an example of their work they had a '71 Pantera, which represents a modest sampling of their talents. I met and talked to Mike Ring. What a terrific person, really down to earth. It was the high-light of my day.
