    Jaguar F-Type vs. 911 Turbo?

Article here: Fight of the Century, 2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe vs 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo - Torque News

Jaguar just released the 2016 Jaguar F-Type with manual shift transmission but it’s only offered in the V6 model- If they make a Manual V8 AWD (All Wheel Drive) F-Type, it will set the stage for an “Ultimate Showdown” vs. the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Should Porsche 911 Turbo Owners be worried?? I think the F-Type might be the 1st real contender in years!
    Thanks, Joe

Does Jaguar actually fund you in any way?

All your latest posts have been a little... monographic.

Just a new writing gig about a car that I was already passionate about Thought I would share some of my articles. I also have an automotive blog where I cover other topics besides Jaguar.

The 911 Turbo would walk right over the F-Type. No contest.

It also costs about double, but still, overall the 911 is still a better package, no matter the trim level.

You are probably correct, but its good to have a legit contender!!

The 911 Turbo is one of those cars that every time the competition thinks they are gaining or drawing closer to it, Porsche takes it to the next level and out of reach again!!

BTW......did you see this footage?? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w4nIwPtiws"]2015 Porsche 991.2 Turbo S facelift tested very aggressively on the Nürburgring! - YouTube[/ame]

    Scary FAST!!

The cost does factor in unless $$$ is not an issue, and if $$$ is not an issue would you still get a 911 Turbo??

There has been a similar car to the 911 Turbo for a few years now, it's the V10-powered Audi R8.

I think if I wanted a 911 with 4WD I'd get a 911 Carrera 4S GTS with the 7 speed. Never mind the fact that I'd still need to learn how to row my gears, I think I'd want one with a manual.

That's a pretty good option too, and around the same price I think.
