It's been a busy morning at the Ultimatecarpage.com office with new releases due at the Geneva Motor Show in a fortnight coming in left and right. The most potent of today's reveals is certainly the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 Special Edition. Effectively a road-going version of Aston Martin's successful GT3 racer, it is powered by a 600hp V12 and comes equipped with a sizeable rear wing. If you are interested in the limited GT3 Special Edition, you better hurry as only 100 will be available.
Lotus will mark the company's return to Geneva with the Evora 400; the fastest ever Lotus production car. Powered by a supercharged V6, good for 400 bhp, it can reach a top speed of 300 km/h. Although considerably more powerful than its predecessor, the Evora 400 is actually a little lighter as well.
In Geneva, Daimler AG will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman with a preview of the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman. The new range-topping limousine has a wheelbase that is actually longer than the overall length of the Evora 400 and as a result has an abundance of interior space.
Pioneering the latest drivetrain technologies, nanoFlowcell will showcase this QUANTiNO. As the name suggests, it is a compact version of the Quant released a year ago.
Further concept cars on display at the Swiss show include the Kia Sportspace and the Lexus LF-SA.
