Damn it, I had just downloaded the pics!

    Off to the Tiguan then.

By the way, this car is seriously ugly.

Thanks for the USDM version. And your right this FCA version of the new mx5 is absolutely ugly.

It looks like a kit car; the proportions are all messed up.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

It is a bit funny looking, but I don't hate it. It is interesting in a non bad way. The front headlights are a bit odd and bulgy or something. Let's wait and see it in person.

I suppose they'll sell, what, 15 a year in North America?

I still think it's preposterously ugly... but if the price and performance are right...

Also, can they do a hardtop version?

Power to me is having the ability to make a change in a positive way. Don't dream it, be it.

It looks like a semi-well done fiberglass kit car based off a VW Beetle. It looks factory right, but then like others have said, the proportions are weirdly done. Looks like they were constrained by stuff like windshields bumpers so they designed things on top of existing needs.

    Do not want.

    Someone made this:

I have to say, it's still not a beauty, but with the big wheels and sporting inserts it look much more proportionate.

Also, this will be an MX-5 with over 200bhp. Who knows, in the right price bracket maybe it makes sense...
