The interiors of their F cars are far gaudier (typically in the bizarre colours they have in press photos) compared to the Germans. Every review I read seems to indicate that they are still not up to par with the AMGs, Ms, and RSs of the world. They're certianly uglier, and down on power.

The one thing that is kinda nice is they keep naturally aspirated engines, which the press then shit-talks after bemoaning the constant onslaught of turbos.

So... Yeah. Cake and eat it too.

I'll take the C63 please and thanks. "F" needs work.

I think that comparing the GS-F to the AMG's, M's and RS's is wrong.

As I see it, it would be a perfect replacement for our old XF 4.2. Minus for the excessive styling. And the price tag which really rivals those cars it shouldn't be compared to.

That is what they want to be compared to, for better or worse.

I was looking again at the LC500h pictures (apparently in EDM spec) and a question arose: Where is the front number plate supposed to go?

Off to the left side in Great Britain, so you can crumple and sweep the shins of pedestrians who live on the edge, or shall I say walk on the edge.

Or the right side if you're in LHD countries, which ever is more convenient to damage shins.

I think it goes right across the middle, the whole grill can't possibly be used for air, there should be a crash member right at the tip of that grill.

    Thanks for the photos!

The big naturally aspirated V8 is a real breath of fresh air and I can even look past the weird grill. Once you get past the grill, the rest of the car actually looks fabulous, unlike its cheaper brethren. A worthy successor to the Lexus SC300 and Toyota Soarer.

    Lexus LC #12

And it looks quite fetching in this color of green. Officially called Nori Green, it's a special edition color.

    LC #13

I think BMW would stand to learn a bit from Lexus, this is much more elegant than the 8 Series coupe they put out, which looks like a big Mustang from certain angles. Better enjoy this car while it's in production, that naturally aspirated V8 isn't going to stick around for much longer.

Speaking of which, I found these binaural videos.

Excellent material for people who can't buy one of these cars yet.
