I'm kind of curious about all the drag coefficients on the Rolls-Royce. It can't be all that great with that huge grill.

    I'm sure it's a 'stately' figure...

That said, it might surprise you; there's not a huge amount of negative space up front to create a parachute-like effect and, because interior space is not at such a premium in something with such a huge footprint, the rest of the vehicle can be fairly-aerodynamic as well.

I think the standout contributors of drag are the cooling system, not just because of the upright grille, because of the huge airflow required to cool 6 3/4 turbocharged liters and the large frontal area of the car. Remember that drag is a factor of the coefficient, speed squared, frontal area, and fluid density. So, a given percentage increase in Cd is the same as that same increase in frontal area as far as drag is concerned.

I must say I'm disappointed in RR; that roofline is slovenly and informal. It is clearly designed more for Snapback wearers than tophat wearers.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
