At this weekend's Zoute Classic Grand Prix, Bonhams staged their annual sale. Headlining the auction were a pair of Ferraris with this 275 GTB topping the sale at Euro 2.8 million. This impressive price showed that this particular example ticked all the boxes as it boasts the desirable long-nose design with an all-alloy body. Chassis 08061 spent many years in the United States but was more recently raced extensively in Europe but its successive owners.
Another Ferrari doing well last weekend was this one-owner Enzo. With just 27,000 km on the odometer, it found a new custodian for just over Euro 1.5 million.
Among the new cars launched during the past week were this BMW M8 Gran Coupe Competition and the Porsche Taycan 4S. The four-door Gran Coupe may very well be the best looking version of the new 8-series, while the 4S is the new entry level model of Porsche's first all-electric production car.
After offer a first glimpse during the launch of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, Chevrolet have released further details of the Corvette C8.R competition car. The biggest news is that it will be powered by a 'modern' flat-plane V8 engine, which represents quite a departure from the Corvette's rumbling V8 tradition.
