    Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class (H247) 2020-

The second generation, introduced on 11 December 2019 at Mercedes me media event, has a major change from the previous generation:
the chassis name is now assigned with H-prefix, H247, rather than X-prefix as used in several SUV models from Mercedes-Benz. The chassis number, 247, is shared with B-Class (W247) and GLB-Class (X247).
    The GLA-Class uses the second generation MFA2 platform as found in A-Class (W177), CLA-Class (C118), B-Class (W247), and GLB-Class (X247).
The MFA2-platform provides the GLA-Class with longer wheelbase, higher height, and bigger interior space than the first generation.

Mercedes EQA, the third full electric SUV from Mercedes-Benz, will be introduced next year.

Is it me, or from some angles it looks a bit like a van?

    Yes.

Benzes aren't knocking it outta the park, but BMWs have lost the plot.

Junior Mercs are fine. Especially the interior, it is like a generation or two in front of BMW and Audi.

BMW has definitely lost the plot though.

Exterior and interior design of the "entry level" Benzes have dramatically increased with this generation, yeah.

The CLA ain't my cup of tea exactly, but it's better than it was.

BMWs are straight ugly, and they're double downing on the grill. Everything is so garish. More is more. No restraint.
