Porsches headed for auction and first glimpse of the new Mach I Mustang ...
Hot on the heels of the Driving Into Summer sale for which the results are now in, Canadian auctioneer RM Sotheby's now focus on the European Sale. This fills the void left by the cancelled Techno Classica sale and will open for bidding on June 3rd. A late consignment to the 214-lot sale is this virtually brand new Porsche 935. The second example built, it was finished in grey but has been wrapped in the legendary Martini colours as used by the original 935. The mighty track-day special is estimated to sell for around €1.3 million.
The first half of the sale will close on June 10th and is dedicated completely to the collection of Marcel Petitjean, which is offered at no reserve in its entirety. One of the most interesting cars in the Petitjean stable is this Porsche 904 Carrera GTS. It was sold new to France and spent most of its life there. Restored with a six-cylinder engine, chassis 904-062 has been part of the Petitjean collection since 1993.
Over the weekend, Ford revealed the first glimpse of the upcoming Mustang Mach I. While no specifications have been revealed, the American manufacturer does promise that this will be the most potent version of the 5.0-litre, naturally aspirated Mustang line-up. Further details are expected in the next couple of months.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
