    Renault Sport Spider 1996-1999

    Renault Sport Spider

Pics are hard to come by. Out of 10 Renault media sites, I only found 2 official pics. The other two are from Google.

The track/non-UK ones without the windows are great fun. The aerofoil "windscreen" works well up to about 60 - well except for stones
It needed a lot less weight or more power to really take on the Lotus. But Renault lost interest and weren't going to follow up the development.

ive seen one here in Oregon in the US at the car park of the ALMS, i was quite suprised.
it is truly ugly, but ive heard it handles incredibly. I love the concept, its similar to the elise which is my favorite car.

I've always thought that was a nice little car. Then the Elise came along and blew it away.
