Following a teaser a few weeks ago with pictures of a camouflaged example, Ford have now taken the wraps off the new Mustang Mach I. It is the first time in 17 year that the legendary type name has been used and just over 50 years since the original Mach I was launched. The latest example is powered by the naturally aspirated V8 engine, which is good for 480 bhp. The Mach I benefits from suspension upgrades, additional cooling and comes as standard with a six-speed manual gearbox. A 10-speed automatic will be available as an option. The first deliveries should start early in 2021.
British specialist manufacturer Noble have announced the new 'entry-level' M500. The smaller brother to the familiar M600 will use a twin-turbo Ford V6, a six-speed DSG gearbox and should tip the scales at just 1,350. With as much as 550 bhp on tap, it should provide customers great bang for the buck once it is ready for production.
Mercedes-AMG have also added an entry level model to the line-up in the form of the Mercedes-AMG GT 43. It forms part of the new 2021 model range of the four-door GT model and is powered by a straight-six engine that benefits from mild hybrid support. This turbocharged engine is good for 362 bhp.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the Le Mans victory with this F1 GTR, McLaren have created the limited 720S Le Mans. Only 50 examples will be built and will feature mainly cosmetic changes as well as a VIN starting with 298 in reference to the number of laps covered by the winning car.
