    New Automotive Photography Thread

I moved to Colorado Springs in late 2018 (from So Cal), and have spent much time getting settled and establishing a foot hold in my photography business. Although I consider myself "semi-retired' now, I love photography and want to continue working when possible. I also LOVE cars (especially Ferraris), and enjoy hanging with "car people". I miss the more active car community in So Cal and thought it time to reach out and see if there is anything going on in "The Springs".

Recently, I participated in Haggerty's "Drive at Dawn" which was done virtually, rather than in person at Pebble Beach, since the famous concours was cancelled this year. This is the image I captured of my baby, at 6:30am on August 16th (2020) with Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak in the background. This is a marvelous location for photography, and I'd shot other cars if there is interest!

    Enjoy!

ps ... I am also very interested in any vintage drives that can be setup :-D

This is a well-maintained car, and you have an eye to your subject.
