As part of the annual Bernina Gran Turismo event, RM Sotheby's will hold the new St. Moritz sale next month. Among the 23 cars consigned are three mighty competition inspired Porsches. The most recent is this 911 GT2 RS Clubsport. The 44th of the limited 200 examples built, this example was finished in white with bare carbon-fibre elements. Still with delivery mileage, this track-only machine is estimated to sell for CHF 500,000 - 600,000.
Another hardcore Porsche available is this 993-generation GT2, which also boasts the track-inspired Clubsport package. This includes a full roll-cage and bucket seats. Well maintained but rarely used in recent years, this rare GT2 should sell for well over CHF 1 million.
The original competition inspired Porsche 911 road car is the Carrera RS 2.7 Touring. The fine example consigned was originally sold to Germany but then spent three decades in Japan. Now reunited with its original engine and meticulously restored, it could be yours for between CHF 450,000 and 550,000.
