On Saturday, Bonhams will hold their flagship Bond Street Sale at the London headquarters. The headliner is this Austin Healey 100S, which is one of just four that originally remained in the UK. It was fitted with a David Brown gearbox from new and was repainted British Racing Green within days after being delivered. Following an active career as a club racer, it was part of the Arthur Carter Collection for 42 years. Having just two owners since 2004, AHS 3509 has a pre-sale estimate of £550,000 - £650,000.
American super car manufacturer Hennessey have revealed the first details of a rather wild machine code named Project Deep Space. Due to enter limited production in 2026, it boasts six, electrically driven wheels and has a projected retail price of $3 million.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Motorsport division, BMW is due to introduce only the second ever stand alone M model. Nothing like the original M1, it is previewed in the Concept XM that was revealed this week. The high performance SUV features a hybrid V8 drivetrain that is good for 737 bhp. Another upcoming BMW model is the all-electric i7, which has been caught testing in Sweden.
The highly acclaimed A110 has been given an update, which includes new A110 S and A110 GT models. Both feature the same, uprated four-cylinder engine, which is now good for 296 bhp. The track-oriented 'S' is fitted with a rear wing and can be ordered with semi-slick tyres. The 'GT' is slightly lighter and is the range-topping grand tourer intended for use on public roads.
