At a special event, Horacio Pagani unveiled the Utopia. Code-named the C10, it is the third all-new Pagani and follows in the footsteps of the Zonda and Huayra. Six years in the making, the Utopia boasts an all-new exterior design but is still unmistakably a Pagani. Sculpted in the windtunnel, the very clean design has many subtle detail features like the cut-outs behind the front fenders and ahead of the rear fenders. Airiness is added to the beautiful analog interior by two glass panels in the roof. All controls were created like sculptures with particular attention paid to the fully exposed gear lever mechanism. Power comes from a further refined Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 that is now good for 851 bhp. As always on Paganis, there are four central exhausts, now placed in what looks like the tip of a turbine. Pagani plan to build just 99 examples of the Utopia.
Bentley are gradually bidding farewell to the tried and trusted W12 engine. The production of the 'standard' twelve-cylinder Flying Spur already came to an end in May but there is now a reprise in the form of the Flying Spur Speed. Powered by a 626 bhp version of the W12 and equipped with an eight-speed ZF gearbox, it is fitting finale for the engine that has served Bentley so well since the original Continental GT was launched exactly two decades ago. The Bentley Flying Spur Speed is available to order right now and Bentley expect it to be particularly popular in Europe and North America.
