Based on the 812 GTS, the Ferrari SP51 is the latest one-off created in Maranello. It is a true roadster and the livery is inspired by the mighty 410 S from 1955. The SP51 features a bespoke exterior and interior finish and was commissioned by a customer from Taiwan.
The most tangible part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of BMW Motorsport is the introduction of a brand new, dedicated model. Dubbed the XM, the large SUV is nothing like the only other M-only model, the M1. It features an impressive hybrid drivetrain that combines a twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor with a system output of 643 bhp. This is combined with a very luxuriously appointed interior and well honed chassis that should make the XM one of the very best cars in its segment but also quite a departure from the cars that made the letter M so revered with automotive enthusiasts.
Hot on the heels of the well received road car, Nissan Motorsport have now worked their magic on the new 'Z' to create a GT4 version. It will use the same twin-turbo V6 engine but no further technical details have been released. Eligible to race all around the world, the Z GT4 should hit the tracks during the 2023 season.
French specialist manufacturer Alpine have offered a preview of the track oriented A110 R. Further details will be revealed during next week's Japanese Grand Prix.
