During the last couple of days, several teams revealed their 2023 liveries but today Alfa Romeo F1 became the first to show an actual 2023 Grand Prix car. Dubbed the C43, it represents an evolution of the C42 used in 2022. Again equipped with the Ferrari power unit, it combines a series of changes stipulated by the revised regulations, like the larger wing-mirrors, with improvements that should bring the Italo/Swiss team further up the order.
Ahead of the introduction of the next generation of the range-topping Lamborghini supercar, the Italian manufacturer produced two one-offs that bid the naturally aspirated V12 engine farewell. Based on the outgoing Aventador, they are dubbed the Auténtica and the Invincible. Both are powered by a 768 bhp version of the howling V12 but one the first is a Roadster while the second is a Coupe. The design language of both is inspired by earlier limited production Lamborghinis like the Veneno, Reventón and Sesto Elemento, while there are also many subtle cues inspired by motorsport like the large rear wing and deep splitter.
Continuing our Retromobile coverage, we have now taken a look at the Bonhans Les Grandes Marques du Monde a Paris sale. Illustrated by a 50-shot gallery, the results reveal that a Ferrari F40 was the top seller at just under €2.2 million. The exact same amount was also paid for this fabulous and very distinct Talbot Lago T26 GS Chambas Coupe.
