Just before the weekend, Porsche revealed the 992 II-generation 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring models. The drivetrain is carried over from the first generation models but with a shorter ratio final drive and reduced weight to improve acceleration. Further performance was found by revising the aerodynamics with a new front diffuser, sculpted lower front wishbones and angled side plates on the rear wing. The 911 GT3 is more track-oriented and can be specified with the hardcore Weissach package or in a more civilised touring configuration, which is a nod to the available versions of the original 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Altogether more civilised is the actual 911 GT3 Touring or 'Touring package', which instantly recognisable by the lack of a rear wing.
Toyota North American Motorsports has teamed up with Toyota Gazoo Racing to operate as Toyota Gazoo Racing North America from the 2025 season onwards. The first car launched by the new team is the GR Corolla TC, which will race in SRO's TC America series. Based on the production GR Corolla, it combines a turbocharged three-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Shortly after its launch, the all-new Ferrari F80 saw its dynamic debut at the Ferrari Finali Mondiale over the weekend.
