    is a nissan 200sx a silvia?

    Well, that all depends.....

    If your talking 240Sx S13 or so, than yes, they are sylvias.
    If your talking 200Sx S14, then yes.
    If your talking 200Sx S15, then yes.

    Otherwise, It's always been called a Sylvia. even S12's (Known in Australia as Nissan Gazelles, shudder.....). The japanese name for 200SX is Sylvia.

    Its basically Japanese market name vs rest of world... I like the Silvia name better, is it spelt Silvia or Sylvia? I'm sure on the cars it says Silvia..
