GM daewoo pulled from aussie car list!

ever since GM took over distribution of daewoo in australia, they have made a loss of millions. this in turn has forced them to ask holden to do a "price check" on the future of daewoo in australia. they found that to get sales up against other korean and japanese cars would be a cost over that which they want to. now GM have dropped daewoo from australia, so NO MORE NEW DAEWOO's! (yay) holden by law, have to produce parts for the existing cars for another 10 years.

its a sad story for GM and Daewoo, although their cars were only really ever bought by those who needed an A-B car or were on a strict budget. theyre claiming that only about 30-40 jobs will be lost as theres a fair few Daewoo dealers that are shared with Holden
