why bid to begin with??....the company that makes the eleanors will make it for anyone who wants one and they can be alot less than $95,000

But, the popularity of this particular GT500 after the film "Gone in 60 Seconds" and the money that people were making off it caused CSA to take notice. Shelby is again producing this car, BUT...., only a limited number. The car will be signed by Carrol Shelby and be recognized in the CSA Registry as an authentic Shelby. The first car in the series sold two years ago at the Barret-Jackson auto auction held in Scottsdale, Arizona. Don't quote me on this price, but I think the bidding went final at $135,000.

wow, thats pretty pricy, but i guess if you really want an authentic one, then you'd get one of these. i love this car, but not enough to spend that much. maybe a replica eleanor.......
