HP was never officially confirmed cos the engine broke the dynamo, the dynamo axle was rated at 900bhp, thin about it, 2 meaty TVR V6's bolted together, unbelievable... its been clocked at 241mph

BUT, it was described by the man who designed it as 'ridiculous' and he had to drive with the doors open at low speeds because the cabin got so hot!
Fave is the Caterham R500, all round all star in my books, then the Lotus Elise GT (can we count race cars?)
They both notch up 500 bhp/ton, not many cars can claim that
Britain has a great bespoke car industry, very few mass produce and most are built by hand - Marcos, Westfield, Noble... to name but a few, these type of cars will live forever!

There are so many excellent British manufacturers to choose from at the moment.

TVR, Caterham, Westfield, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bentley, Lotus, MG, Noble, Invicta, Lister, Ascari, FBS, Ginetta, Morgan...

I like the Vanquish and Aston Martin V8 Virage and Vantage.
