So it's basically a 345bhp Vectra that does 277km/h? Can anyone translate the details, please?

The text on the site says the Vectra OPC by tuner EDS was the first car of 16 roling on the track, taking the underdog's role in terms of speed. But it was also the most inexpensive by far.
Vauxhall thought it was a promising projekt breaking through the 300km/h barrier. That's why they wanted EDS to drive a RHD Vauxhall instead of a LHD Opel.
The car features a big supercharger and modified electronics. Vmax was 276,7 km/h at 3rd try.

Does that mean the Turbo's been binned or is it twincharged? I always thought the 2.8 24v V6 Turbo was a promising engine with a lot more to give. What could also be promising is the fact that the platform the Vectra's built on (the Epsilon platform) can accomodate four wheel drive. I'd love to try it!

Sorry, mistake. Of course the Opel is LHD and the Vauxhall is RHD. Edited.
