PLEASE get rid of the 'related thread' links!

    Seriously, these need to go.

I'm getting revoltingly sick of seeing lame old threads brought back to life.

I kinda like them cause sometimes I see old threads that I missed and I like to read over them and sometimes you learn something. Maybe instead we could make it so that a thread closes to new posts but can still be read so the information stays available but the old threads aren't revived.

well sometimes old thread can be usefull as well... for the infos and other stuff...

the thing is, sometimes wen someone make a thread...u get replies like... "this is a re-post" and the other members can't be bothered to reply coz its a re-post... and new members often make re-posts... so why not bring the old threads back.

i brought bak the "username" thread coz i think its a pretty gud thread and i wanted to hav a go and let other members hu missed it to hav a go... i dont see anything wrong with that.

    Ah-yes-but

What happens is that someone posts a question, or a request for info/ pics.
No one replies for two weeks, thread is closed.
Someone finds answer/ info/ pics, has to start a new thread :"Here's that stuff you wanted"

    And repeat.
    Thanks for all the fish
